The SOLAS convention regulates mandatory safety aspects for ships on international voyages such as construction, stability, machinery, electrical installations, fire safety, life-saving appliances, navigation, communications and carriage of cargoes.

 

According to the SOLAS convention, all export containers need to have a VGM certificate (Verified Gross Mass). This means that every export container needs to be official weighed on a weighbridge which is approved by the Ministry of Mobility. We at RSC Trans have a weighbridge which has been approved and therefore can provide the SOLAS required certificate.
